Art licensing is an agreement that allows a company to use an artist's original artwork on their products while the artist retains ownership of the design. Cheerful Collective offers both non-exclusive and exclusive licensing options, depending on the needs of your brand and project.

Non-exclusive licensing
A non-exclusive license allows the same artwork to be licensed to more than one company. The design may also remain available through retail partners, such as Spoonflower or other licensed manufacturers, depending on the agreement.

Exclusive licensing
An exclusive license gives your brand exclusive rights to use a design within an agreed product category and time period. I retain the copyright to the artwork, and unless otherwise agreed, the design may still be licensed for different product categories.

Absolutely! If you love an existing design but need a different color palette, scale, or a few thoughtful modifications, I'd be happy to explore those possibilities. I also accept select custom illustration and collection projects. Depending on your needs, custom artwork can be licensed exclusively or non-exclusively.
